The Five Days of Hajj — Step by Step
Our scholar guide leads you through every ritual from Ihram to Tawaf al-Wida
Day 1 — 8 Dhul Hijjah: Mina
Pilgrims enter Ihram and travel to Mina, spending the day and night in supplication and remembrance. This is known as Yawm al-Tarwiyah (the Day of Reflection).
Day 2 — 9 Dhul Hijjah: Arafah
The most important day of Hajj. Pilgrims stand on the plain of Arafah from after Dhuhr until sunset, making du'a and seeking forgiveness. Missing Arafah means missing Hajj. After sunset, pilgrims proceed to Muzdalifah.
Day 3 — 10 Dhul Hijjah: Eid al-Adha & Jamarat
Pilgrims collect pebbles at Muzdalifah, then stone the large Jamarat pillar at sunrise. Qurbani (sacrifice) is performed, hair is shaved/cut, and pilgrims return to Makkah for Tawaf al-Ifadah and Sa'i. Partial Ihram release.
Days 4–5 — 11–12 Dhul Hijjah: Tashreeq Days
Pilgrims spend the nights in Mina and stone all three Jamarat pillars (Sughra, Wusta, Kubra) each day. Pilgrims who wish may depart Mina on 12 Dhul Hijjah (early departure) or 13 Dhul Hijjah (complete Tashreeq).
Final Days — Madinah & Farewell Tawaf
After Mina, pilgrims return to Makkah for the farewell Tawaf (Tawaf al-Wida) — the last act before leaving the holy city. The programme then moves to Madinah for 5–7 nights at Masjid Nabawi and Ziyarat sites.

Hajj 2027 FAQs
Hajj 2027 is expected to take place from approximately 12–17 June 2027 (14–19 Dhul Hijjah 1448 AH). The exact dates depend on the moon sighting. Arafah (the most important day) is expected on 13 June 2027. Pilgrims typically depart the UK 3–5 days before Hajj begins and return 5–7 days after Eid al-Adha.
Hajj 2027 packages from the UK are expected to start from approximately £7,500–8,000pp for an Economy programme (including return flights). Standard packages with 4★ hotels and breakfast are priced from £9,500pp. VIP programmes with 5★ Haram-view accommodation start from £14,000pp. All prices are per person based on quad sharing and are subject to Saudi quota confirmation.
All our Hajj packages include: return flights from UK airports, Saudi Hajj visa and full documentation, Mina tent accommodation, ground transport throughout (Makkah–Mina–Arafah–Muzdalifah–Madinah), a qualified UK-based scholar guide, Makkah hotel accommodation, and Madinah programme (7 nights). Standard and VIP packages also include breakfast and dinner daily.
We recommend registering your interest for Hajj 2027 as early as possible — ideally by November 2026. Saudi Arabia imposes strict quotas on UK pilgrims and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A deposit of £500–1,000pp is typically required to secure your place. WhatsApp us now to join our early registration list.
Yes — all our Hajj packages include full Hajj visa processing and documentation. Our expert visa team handles the entire application on your behalf, including the Nusuk registration, mahram documentation (for women), and all Saudi consulate requirements. There is no additional visa fee on top of the package price.
Saudi Arabia updated its rules in 2021: women of any age can now perform Hajj without a mahram (male guardian), provided they travel with an organised group. All our women pilgrims are accommodated within supervised group programmes with female staff support. Please WhatsApp us to discuss the specific requirements for your situation.
Economy Hajj (from £7,500pp) offers 3★ hotels within 800m of the Haram, standard Mina tents, and group transfers. Standard Hajj (from £9,500pp) offers 4★ Haram-view hotels, air-conditioned Mina tents, breakfast and dinner, and closer proximity to the Haram. VIP Hajj (from £14,000pp) offers 5★ Haram-tower hotels, private AC ensuite Mina tents, full board, business class flight upgrade option, and a personal scholar guide.
Yes — unlike our Umrah packages, all Hajj packages are fully inclusive of return flights from UK airports (London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham). The flight cost is built into the package price. We use direct or one-stop Saudi Arabia-bound flights. Departure cities and airline options are confirmed upon registration.
Our Hajj 2027 programmes are typically 25–35 days. The Hajj rituals themselves (Mina, Arafah, Muzdalifah, stoning of Jamarat, Tawaf al-Ifadah) take 5–6 days. The remaining time is split between Makkah (pre- and post-Hajj Umrah and worship) and Madinah (7 nights visiting Masjid Nabawi and Ziyarat sites).
